Progress on different projects:
For the research report I'm still conducting research into games looking at their communal and financial figures then storing the information to use later.

With the main project I've finished development of the UI and is integrated with all other game mechanics e.g.(player resources,Tower properties and Tower library) besides the resources most over features have not been implemented to the UI yet because they have not developed but once they are they can easily be commented the UI.

Summary (05/10/2015-09/10/2015)

Events This week:

Learning agreement schedule of work:

.Update blog
.Research into similar games to my studio work
.Research further into research report focusing on statistics and figures

Progress on different projects:
On the research report I started to conduct research into some early access titles to get a look at their reception from the audience that plays them as well as compiling how much money they made.

With the main project I spent the majority of the week developing the UI and integrating it with game systems this included displaying resources on the screen and having them change when necessary. This is a massive undertaking and will probably take 2  weeks to complete.

fully finished all learning agreements and have the file ready for submission.

Year 3: Week 2 Summary (28/09/2015-02/09/2015)

Summary (28/09/2015-02/09/2015)

Events This week:
this week we were able to go on our first university field trip to the Sony Center in Cambridge. We are currently on the nondisclosure agreements  do I'm not allowed to mention what we did there or in terms of how good the trip was was a very exciting trip and the experience was amazing. we had another lecture about our research report outlining some key factors about the report. We also asked to submit our learning agreement this week.

Learning agreement schedule of work:
.Finish learning agreement and submit
.Update blog
.Research into similar games to my studio work
.Research further into research report focusing on statistics and figures

Progress on different projects:
I was able to submit the learning agreement this week without any hassle and I'm confident what my learning agreement says will stand up throughout the whole year.

I was also able to cement my idea for my research report on the idea I will talk about in the research board is the issue of early access games on the steam marketplace.

I was also a will is read in the main project to develop a plate selection system in my game similar to other tower defence game is though this mechanic doesn't do anything yet this will be the basic for spawning towers with my game a big step in terms of the game's creation.

Year 3: Week 1 Summary (21/09/2015-25/09/2015)

Summary (21/09/2015-25/09/2015)

Events This week:
This was the first week of year three we received a welcome talk and received our first lecture introducing was to the year ahead and the main project we will be spending the rest of the year. We were also placed in our work groups I was placed in group B. which according to my calendar shows that I'm usually in on Tuesday afternoons to talk with Mark are teacher about progress we've made in the week before. It appears that this year we will only be one or two times a week and will have to take on more independent work which from me I prefer.

Learning agreement schedule of work:
.Introduction to year three
.Start research into research report
.Start constructing basics of evolution game project
.Update blog

Progress on different projects:
This week I started the basic constructions of the main game projects. This was mostly altering the game camera and implementing different mechanics revolving around the camera's interaction with the environment.

I tried to cement my idea for the research report but still torn between a few different ideas in which to write about. There is no deadline yet for the idea bought the quicker I form at the idea the quicker I can be able to work on a and get ahead of the deadline

Year 3: Side project: Week 9-13: Interactive arm

For this project we are asked to create an interactive experience around the prosthetic arm. I decided to create a simulation in which players would be able to move a prosthetic arm using all of its joints. This had no points to the game so technically it was more the simulation than an actual game but because of the nature of the object I felt a simulation instead of an actual game would come out better.

Year 3: Side project: Week 6-8: Frogger game

For week 6 to 8 we were asked to create a game similar to the old style game Frogger. I tried to recreate a similar game but increase the difficulty greatly. the game is settled very similar to frog in which the player has to get five of the player gathers to the end of the level in order to progress forward I managed to create three separate levels each of similar difficulty for the player.

Year 3: Side project: Week 3-5 Project Orrery

For week 3 to 5 I was asked to create a project surrounding the concept of an Orrery because my main area of focus will be interactivity I created a game in game engine unreal engine 4. The game revolves around a player trying two sort planet into the right order when finished the player then gets to look around and examine the full array with all the planets in the right order.

the game was designed to be educational teaching young people about their solar system and the order the planets are in it. This was meant to be done through a phone medium like a game to catch people's attention
