so last year I made a gameplay video and i had to make all the artwork for it and im gonna compare it to the finished character image i made here are the images.

so frist project down for uni its been hard to do i thin for the next art project i need to get my art skill up alot more. the project has been fun thou i have gained alot of experiences with photoshop and geting a better understanding of drawing which is always good. Hopefully next time there is a art forces project i will be better at it.

Colour studies

these are my colour studies of four of my environment i found this process to be a lot harder than value drawing because of the limited colour i could use as from my research the streets often didn't have many different colours. This was a hard bit of work as this is the frist time i have ever drawn environments but i like do it witch is a good thing.

Here are some images giving me an idea of what colour the streets were back in the 1930'2 these will be very helpful in my colour studies and final image. I also see that the colour in the streets don't really change witch will be something to keep in mind.

for my final image i wanted to show the character leaning against a lamppost but to have the tree from the story in the background between two builds. I like this concept because it links the character and the theme of the 1930's like the cities of the 1930's to the the story of the tinder box.

The ression i'm doing this research is for one of my final images where the character is hold the newspaper. i want to show the character reading a newspaper but you can see his face with a emaition on his face similar to the images in this research

For my final two character images i will be make two images the first one will be the character showing to an emotion and the other will be the character in a environment.

For the first image I will try to show the character as the main focus of the image I would like to show the character smoking and learning against a lamppost as if the camera is looking up at the character here are some research images i found on what i want the image to look like:

For the second image i wanted to have the character to be walking down a street by himself or mebby looking from over his shoulder at a street view the main idea i had was to have the the view of the characters back and looking onto a lively street.
