The game "game dev tycoon" was made by green heart games in July 2011 then was released in December 2012. The company Green heart games was made by Patrick and Daniel K lug who stared the company by themselves with this game being there first game they have ever made. With this game the company has used a simple cartoon style for the look of the game the ression I think they chose this style was so they could appeal to the casual audiences another ression they might have used this style is because this is there first game that the company has made.
For the main point of the game the player must crate games to make money so that there company do not go into date. the player can controlled almost everything about the game when it is being made. the player can change the name, the topic, the genera and even the console it is sold on and all of these factory's will effect how many units the game will sell. The player will have monthly costs to cover and the more staff they have or the better technology they use the more the cost will be per month. When it comes to meaning full play in the game the player has the ability to grow there company or not, make bigger game or make mobile small games that only require a small team and wont cost so much
For the games look and feel the game has Simla graphic to games like angry birds or candy crush and i think this was a major influence as they are casual games and this game aims to be a casual game. in the game there are not many different sounds there is a main theme song that resets and keeps playing there are also more sounds for when the player finished the game but this is the only sounds in the game witch to be honest from playing the game it do sent really matter.
As the game is set in the 80's it follows the game history time line showing all the old consoles and how well they sold and how bad they sold and you as the player must ride off the sells of these consoles to make money for there game. Aswell the player can use real life events that are set in the game to show off there game like E3 the player can use this the advertise the game and make people more exited to get there games.
