BA5: Track Power Terminal Model

Here are some images of the model that I've created within Maya for the track power terminal assets. the limit we had with this model was that it had to be under 5000 polygons and my final count for my polygons were 4109. 













once I was finished modelling the assets I lay the texture across the top of the model made up of squares so that I could alter the UV use of the model so that they are squares were evenly distributed across the entire model making sure that no area would be out of focus  here is what the model look like when the UVs were formally unwrapped.





here is the final you've your wrap that I made for the model trying to optimise the UV its taken up so that when I apply textures of the model is evenly distributed and takes advantage of the resolution of the texture.
